Zimbabwe vs India: Deepak Chahar ran through Zimbabwe’s top order to set things up for India. Zimbabwe are struggling to recover after a poor start, but another rescue act from Sikandar Raza and Chakabva helped them get to a decent score. For India, Deepak Chahar is back in form, and he was at his best with the new ball, finding swing with ease. There are still puzzles with respect to the batting line-up due to the presence of three players who could open the batting in Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan, along with Shikhar Dhawan.

Zimbabwe vs India Predicted Playing XI

Zimbabwe Playing XI

Regis Chakabva(c), Tarisai Musakanda, Innocent Kala, Wessley Madhevere, Sikandar Raza, Luke Jongwe, Milton Shumba, Ryan Burl, Victor Nyauchi, Richard Ngavara, Wellington Masakadza

India Playing XI

Shikhar Dhawan, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Sanju Samson, Deepak Hooda, Axar Patel, Deepak Chahar, Avesh Khan, Shardul Thakur/ Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav

Key Players

Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar is back. After missing nearly six months to various injuries, he is back swinging the ball and running through top-orders. With his batting also a useful skill, Deepak Chahar‘s return gives India a very good backup for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is a very similar player. Both swing the ball well and can bat decently down the order. He can also be a handy backup for Hardik Pandya, although his batting is not as effective, but probably pips the race over the likes of Shardul Thakur.

Regis Chakabva

Chakabva has been giving handy contributions over the fast few games. Against Bangladesh as well, he supported Raza through the series with contributions that went rather unnoticed. While the spotlight is on Raza, India will not want to forget Chakabva who is just as important a batter in their line-up.

Zimbabwe vs India Match Tips

Zimbabwe struggled at the start against India and that will come to be a concern for them in the upcoming game. With the op order struggling, they will have a tough time against India in the second ODI.

Match Prediction: India will win the match.
