Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and wife Ayesha Mukherjee left everyone in shock as the couple decided to part ways ending their eight years of marriage life. The duo tied the knot back in October 2012 and have a 7-year-old son named Zoravar.

Ayesha, who is a trained kickboxer at Melbourne, on Monday confirmed the news of separation with Dhawan through her lengthy Instagram post and explained how terrifying divorce is and how it feels to be divorced. In her post Ayesha wrote – “She thought divorce was a ‘dirty word’ until ‘I became a 2-time divorcee’. Lot of fans are unable to digest this shocking news and all of them expressed their disbelief in the comments sections as they always looked up to Dhawan and Ayesha as an ideal couple and one should learn couple goals from them and so on. Before Shikhar Dhawan, Ayesha Mukherjee was married to an Australian business tycoon and is blessed with two daughters from her first marriage.Ayesha is 10 years older than Dhawan.

While Ayesha has expressed her thoughts by confirming the separation news through her social media post, Dhawan who is all set to play the remaining Indian Premier League 2021 in Dubai for Delhi Capitals, hasn’t confirmed any news yet from his side. This has put the fans in confusion since Ayesha didn’t mention Dhawan in her post, are they really parting ways or was it just a generalized thought from her part?
