With the World Cup around the corner Sri Lanka have decided to bring back their most experienced head. Angelo Matthews, after a hiatus is back. He had a good Test series, and his experience will be vital for Sri Lanka in the middle-order. His bowling still remains a question with Angelo Matthews still experiencing fitness issues.
Mitchell has proven to be a silent but important member of the side over the last year. He has produced some crucial knocks in the middle-order when the other players failed to deliver. Now, with Williamson and Conway out, Mitchell will have some added responsibility and could be backed to do the hard work.
Sri Lanka are pretty unpredictable in white-ball cricket. Beating New Zealand at home though remains a challenge, leaving New Zealand favorites.
