Pakistan Vs Australia: After a dull draw in the first Test with both teams piling the runs, Australia get ready for their next challenge in Pakistan. The second Test at Karachi is expected to have a more sporting surface, and the series could finally start to get a little heated up. Both teams are on top of the WTC table and have a lot to play for.
Match: Pakistan Vs Australia
Date: 12th March 2022
Time: 10:30 AM
Venue: National Stadium, Karachi
The weather is clear with warm temperatures for all five days. Australia are likely to get a better measure of subcontinent temperatures with the mercury rising for the second Pakistan Vs Australia Test.

The pitch at Karachi looks drier and may play tougher than the one at Rawalpindi. There is more spin on offer and teams will have to make changes if they are to tackle a tricky surface.
Pakistan (probable): 1 Iman-Ul-Haq, 2 Shan Masood 3 Azhar Ali, 4 Babar Azam (c), 5 Fawad Alam, 6 Mohammad Rizwan (wk), 7 Faheem Ashraf, 8 Nauman Ali, 9 Hasan Ali, 10 Shaheen Shah Afridi, 11 Sajid Khan
Australia (probable): 1 David Warner, 2 Usman Khawaja, 3 Marnus Labuschagne, 4 Steve Smith, 5 Travis Head, 6 Alex Carey (wk) 7 Cameron Green/ Ashton Agar, 8 Pat Cummins (c), 9 Nathon Lyon, 10 Mitchell Swepson, 11 Josh Hazlewood
Australia have announced that Mitchell Swepson will be playing and that is likely to put Mitchell Starc out of the side.
Fawad Alam
Fawad Alam got a nice thank you for coming message as he went through one of the flattest pitches without batting, bowling or taking a catch. He is in the middle of a strong run of form though, after making a comeback, and will be eager to finally get a chance to bat in the upcoming Test.
Steve Smith
The Karachi Pitch is likely to spin more and that should make things tougher for the Australian batters. If things get tough though, the responsibility will fall on Steve Smith as he is one of the better players of spin in the Australian line-up.
Pakistan at home on a surface that takes spin will be tough to play against. Australia in general has a poor record in the subcontinent, giving Pakistan an upper-hand.
Match Prediction: Pakistan will win the match.
