Five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians (MI) had an awful run in the IPL 2024, where they finished in the 10th or last place in the points table, which happened twice in the last three IPL seasons. MI are desperate to bring back their dominance in the forthcoming season.

MI spent INR 75 crore to retain five capped players before the IPL 2025 mega auction. They started the mega auction with a purse balance of INR 45 crore.

MI brought back Trent Boult by spending INR 12.50 crore. They have players like Deepak Chahar, Will Jacks, Allah Ghazanfar, Mitchell Santner, etc. MI used the RTM for Naman Dhir.
