TRT vs LNS: Two teams on top of the table are taking each other on. The reason for success in both sides has been rather different. LNS has a strong middle-order and a stable top order batter. They also have some good bowlers but not too many all-rounders. TRT though are full of all-rounders, have a strong to-order and some stable batters in Dawid Malan. Furthermore, they had to deal with player loss this season as Joe Root and Rashid Khan went away on national duty at various times over the campaign. Rashid Khan will be back soon but it will be interesting to see who goes out as Shamsi is doing a find job himself.

Match: TRT vs LNS
Date: 20th August 2022
Time: 11:30 PM IST
Venue: Trent Bridge, Nottingham
The evening is nice warm and clear for the TRT vs LNS fixture.
The track is flat and will allow the ball to come onto the bat nicely. A lot of runs are expected and batting second is the better option.
Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Dawid Malan, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Ian Cockbain, Samit Patel, Tabraiz Shamsi, Luke Wood, Daniel Sams, Marchant De Lange, Luke Fletcher
Zak Crawley, Dan Lawrence, Glenn Maxwell, Eoin Morgan, Ben McDermott, Kieron Pollard, Liam Dawson, Riley Meredith, Jordan Thompson, Brad Wheal, Chris Wood.
Glenn Maxwell has been on the rise as an all-rounder over the last two years. His explosive batting is already known, and with him batting up the order he has more time to get into his groove and cause damage. His bowling is also improving as he is reliable at any stage of the innings, and can make a huge impact at any stage.
With Rashid Khan likely to comeback soon and Tabraiz Shamsi doing well, Samit Patel has a task on hand. He is likely to be the one to sit out but will have to prove that he is good enough to be in the side as well. He has a lot of experience having been apart of the English domestic circuit for a long time and his T20 experience will be handy as he fights for his place in the side,

Both teams are on top of the table and looking very good. TRT though has lost some steam after losing players and that could be a factor for them in the game. Unless the likes of Dawid Malan or Alex Hales can come really good, LNS are in for a win.
