The hosts are in the Finals. After their loss to Sri Lanka, and with selection issues due to their fitness criteria, the odds were highly against South Africa to get this far. South Africa though are proving that their methods and ability works as they now make the Finals after a tight win to England. Against them though are the favorites, who have been dominating Cricket in the most dominating fashion in recent times. The current Australian unit looks unbeatable. Even when they are down and out, they have shown their ability to fight back in the Australian way as they refuse to give up regardless of the match situation.

Shabnim Ismail held her composure really well to complete what was a dream come true. Bowling the Final over in a Semi-Final is something she would have pictured on numerous occasions, and she finally got to do the job. She is the fastest bowler in the tournament and if anyone can push the mighty Australians it will be her. South Africa will hope the famous C-word does not affect them and to prevent any such occurrences of the word, Shabnim Ismail will be key.
A duck in the previous game has Beth Mooney get off to a bad start to this World Cup. She is normally very consistent at the top and a good innings will extend the fear factor in a dominating Australian line-up.
Australia are as clinical as ever in this tournament. Their line-up, depth and professionalism has been spot on. South Africa the hosts have a huge job on hand, but the pressure and skill applied by the Australians could be a little too much for them.
