Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan: Zimbabwe will probably be reeling from their recent series loss against Namibia and may be feeling distraught. They know they have a long way to go in international cricket after years of struggle, and with Afghanistan rising fast and producing World Class players they may have a tough time at home yet again.
Afghanistan will be coming into this series in a phase of mini transition themselves. They don’t have Gulbadin Naib, who has been dropped, and their former skipper has retired in the middle of the World Cup last year, putting some holes in the middle-order.
Match: Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan
Date: 4th June 2022
Time: 12:45 IST
Venue: Harare Sports Club
The Harare weather is clear for the Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan game with little chance of rain.
The Harare track is likely to be dry as usual, allowing spin to come into play while batting first will be a better option on the track.

Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan is fresh off an IPL Championship but now will have to get into a new role. With the Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan was able to play a holding role effectively with other bowlers there to exploit the pressure created by him. Now, in the longer format though, creating pressure alone will not be enough, and Rashid Khan will now have to find ways to pick up wickets regularly. He will be up against a weaker batting line-up though, which could magnify his threat.
Blessing Muzarabani
Blessing Muzarabani has been in wonderful form over the last two seasons. He is one of the few names from Zimbabwe which are making headlines, and with his team in turmoil, he will have to stand up and live up to the expectations he has created over himself.
While Zimbabwe may be the home-side, Afghanistan come in with a lot of talent, growth and superstars. They are a team that is constantly growing and it will be rather tough for Zimbabwe to stop them.
Match Prediction: Zimbabwe will win the match.
